Our group is interested in designing and engineering low-dimensional quantum materials and heterostructures from the atomic level to the system level for a new generation of electronic, photonic and quantum technologies. We do so using state-of-the-art device fabrication and characterization approaches, ranging from robotic nano-manufacturing to reconfigurable device architectures to nano-optical imaging. We mix and match these approaches to better understand, design, and manipulate new emergent phenomena and discover new functionalities in quantum materials.
