Abstract:
We know there are "stellar-mass" black holes that are made when massive stars die. And we know there are supermassive black holes of millions to billions of solar masses like the black hole at the center of our Milky Way. But we do not know of any black holes in between. We will discuss our quest to find intermediate-mass black holes, and what they may tell us about how supermassive black holes formed.
