Consultation and Tutoring

With the switch to online instruction, our consultation room in PAS 372 will also be going virtual.  Each hour from 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday, a GTA will be holding consultation hours through Zoom.  The schedule is available below. Click their name to open their personal zoom meeting. In the consultation sessions, students can obtain specific help in problem-solving or in understanding physics concepts for undergraduate courses.  However, if you need more individual attention you might seek a paid tutor.  Please review the list of current physics tutors below the table of free consultation hours.

The following list of paid tutors is compiled as a service to our students. The Physics Department takes no responsibility for the information listed below. An individual's name appearing on this list does not constitute an endorsement by this department. We suggest that you discuss with the prospective tutor his/her qualifications to ensure that (s)he will be able to meet your needs. Please be advised that the Graduate Council has ruled that graduate teaching assistants/associates not be allowed to engage in any commercial activity relative to the course(s) with which they are assisting at this University (e.g. paid tutoring, selling course materials or conducting paid review sessions for courses in which they are directly or indirectly involved as a Graduate Teaching Assistant.)
