The Women in Physics club is an active graduate student-run group that aims to promote the inclusion of women in science and to raise awareness of gender biases in physics. All students, scientists, and faculty are welcome to join and attend meetings and events. We organize events ranging from professional development events such as hosting invited speakers from academia and industry, social activities such as BBQs and lunch discussions, and physics outreach such as helping with elementary school science fairs.
