Congratulations to Profs. Burant and Visscher, Winners of Physics Teaching Awards

This year’s Physics Department Undergraduate Teaching Award goes to Prof. Alex Burant, for his exceptional teaching in the large physics service courses 103 and 241, as well as the fun Gen-Ed class “The Science of Good Cooking”. 

This year’s Physics Department Graduate Teaching Award goes to Prof. Koen Visscher, for his teaching of the graduate core course Statistical Mechanics.
