Katie Butcher wins the CoSSAC Star Award

Congratulations to our Undergraduate Coordinator Katie Butcher, who won the CoSSAC (College of Science Staff Advisory Council) Star Award! This is the award to recognize the staff’s hard work and dedication, and their contribution to the department.
Katie joined the department in 2022. She has impressed everyone with her skill, her hard-working attitude, her willingness to help others, and her team spirit. Katie is the Undergraduate Coordinator in our department, who takes care of all undergraduate and course-related work with enthusiasm and efficiency. She also shares front office workload and helps organize departmental events. She has done a superb job in both of her responsibilities and contributes greatly to the department operation on a daily basis. Katie is not only quick in getting things done, she also finishes the job beautifully. She is the one who designed those beautiful posters for the department coffee/tea time, welcome reception, ice cream social, and holiday open house.
CoSSAC members came to our department meeting on December 6 and presented the award to Katie. Let’s give a big applause to Katie’s contributions to the department.
