TIMESTEP (Tucson Initiative for Minoritized Student Engagement in Science & Technology Program) is a University of Arizona program that offers educational and professional development opportunities for undergraduate students in the physical sciences. The TIMESTEP Apprenticeship program provides 2nd year UArizona astronomy and physics majors a paid opportunity to learn technical and professional skills from faculty mentors, including UAPhysics' Eduardo Rozo.

TIMESTEP apprentices presented posters showcasing their research on April 19th at TIMESTEP's 2023-24 Research Apprenticeship Symposium held at the Steward Observatory. This year's cohort includes seven physics or astrophysics majors: Namit Chandak, Suhani Surana, Keenan Fiedler, Philip Klaassen, Pranav Chiploonkar, Aakanksha Adya, and Grace Gibbins.

Students' posters and application information for next year's program can be found here.
