Fields of Study:
Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics
Research Interests:
My research interest centers around development of new computational methods of atomic and molecular quantum mechanics. Implementation of these methods allows us to study dynamics of chemical reactions involving molecular systems in ground and excited electronic states and systems excited to higher vibrational and rotational states. We also study electrical conductivity of molecular wires formed my non-homogeneous organic polymers (DNA) in relation to their application in nano-electronics. Extended collaboration with experimental groups concern IR, Raman, and photo-electron spectroscopies of gas-phase and matrix-isolated biomolecules and clusters, fullerenes and carbon nano-tubes.
