Abstract: Following the Higgs discovery in 2012, the discussion of building a future Higgs factory has been a hot topic in the particle physics community. In this talk, I will explain why we need a Higgs factory, how to build a Higgs factory, and what kind of physics we can probe with a Higgs factory. In particular, I will explore how a Higgs factory can be used to study new physics beyond the Standard Model of particle physics. ** Refreshments served from 2:45pm – 3:00pm in PAS 218. Thank you. **
