Story on AMS lab on Arizona Illustrated

Vanessa Barchfield of Arizona Illustrated is doing a short piece on the AMS lab this Sunday evening at 6:30 pm on PBS6.  It is highlighting our work on the forensic determination of year-of-birth in unidentified human remains.  Date estimates are derived from the quantity of above ground nuclear testing-derived radiocarbon incorporated into tooth enamel during tooth formation.   We have been engaged in this for more than a decade, and had a few successes over the years with date measurements leading to identifications.  The piece will air at 6:30 pm this Sunday on PBS6!
