We will be commemorating the life of Ann Nelson, a highly accomplished theoretical particle physicist. In addition to making many important contributions to the field, Dr. Nelson was also a lifelong supporter of people from underrepresented and disadvantaged groups in science. In accordance with her vision, we will be discussing what we can do to make our department and our field more welcoming to all people.
