Special Alumnus Lecture: Donn Silberman

"Light at the End of the Tunnel: Careers in Optics and Photonics". This event will be taking place on Friday, Sept. 30 at 3 pm in PAS 220. All students invited! Don't miss this talk about how to prepare for careers in the private sector and educational outreach. Donn received his BS in Engineering Physics in 1983 and has 30+ years of experience in optics-based businesses, including Corning, Newport, MetroLaser and Physic Instrumente. For his work in optics education and outreach, he received the Dean's Outstanding Service Award from UC Irvine and the Advocate for Education Award from the UA Honors College.
