Physics Club members Juliette Olin, Adrian Rose, and James Knepper visited Esmond Station Elementary School on Tuesday to showcase some of the Physics Department's more spectacular physics demonstrations. First graders at Esmond Station were treated to an inspiring show, learning about momentum, energy, and sound. They were then invited to participate in hands-on activities, allowing them to experience firsthand the principles they had learned about.

Outreach events that cater to younger audiences do much to foster interest in STEM fields and are an important part of the Physics Department's role in the Tucson community. Thanks  to the Physics Club for its continued commitment to outreach and education.
