Profs. Schaibley and Wang selected as CSM Fellows

Professors John Schaibley and Weigang Wang have been selected as 2024 Center for Semiconductor Manufacturing Fellows (CSM Fellows ’24). The mission of CSM is "to coordinate and facilitate an institutional focus on meeting the needs of commercial and defense stakeholders and securing the needed external resources to develop multidisciplinary R&D solutions and workforce training programs that are responsive to semiconductor sector needs.”
Schaibley and Wang plan to pursue CSM interests within UA, including the development of a new Accelerated Master's Program in Semiconductor Science and Technology and a new FASTLab laboratory to enable semiconductor research and training. Schaibley is also leading an effort to acquire a new electron beam lithography to be housed in UA's Nanofabrication Center which is undergoing a major renovation.
