The Jim Isenberg Pacific Coast Gravity Meeting (PCGM) is a yearly physics
regional conference held to discuss recent developments and research in gravitation.
Every year, a graduate student is singled out to receive a prize for the best talk.
The 2021 PCGM was held on March 26-27, and the prize for the best talk by a graduate
student was awarded to Erik Wessel for his presentation titled "Gravitational Waves from
Accretion Disk Instabilities."
