Teaching interests:

Active learning and tutorial-based approaches in upper-division and graduate coursework; spins-first approaches in quantum mechanics; two-stage (collaborative) exams, specifications grading, and alternative grading/assessment approaches; inclusive and accessible pedagogy.

Background and Hobbies:

I grew up in San Diego, California, and did my undergrad at Stanford University with a focus in theoretical physics. My hobbies and interests include swing dancing, sewing, tabletop games, musical theatre, cooking, reading queer science fiction/fantasy, and competitive trivia.
