Associate Professor of Physics Dr. John Schaibley was chosen as a 2025 Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation Experimental Physics Investigator. Schaibley and his team will use this $1,300,000 research award to engineer new quantum states in 2D semiconductor devices, which have applications to fundamental science, sensing, and quantum technology.
