Teresa Plaskett and Mike Eklund received the College of Science Staff Excellence Award

Teresa Plaskett (nominated by Physics) and Mike Eklund (nominated by Hydrology and Atmospheric Science) received the 2024 College of Science Staff Excellence Award. The awards were presented at the CoS Staff Appreciation Brunch on April 10.

Teresa is our graduate coordinator and Front Office Administrator, and Mike serves as both IT manager and building manager for Physics and HAS. Both of them take on multiple roles in the department and have been tremendous support to students, staff, and faculty members. The College of Science Staff Excellence Award recognizes individuals who perform their duties with an exceptional degree of pride and reliability. Congratulations and much gratitude to Mike and Teresa for all their hard work and willingness to go the extra mile.
