Congratulations to Prof. John Schaibley: the inaugural OPR Faculty Fellow

The University of Arizona Office of Research and Partnerships has appointed John Schaibley, Associate Professor of Physics, as its first Faculty Fellow for Quantum. In this role, Schaibley will guide the University’s expanding quantum science and technology initiatives, unify research efforts across disciplines, and strengthen collaborations with industry. He will serve as an advisor to the UA Senior Vice President for Research, Tomás Díaz de la Rubia, and work with campus units to develop a quantum research network.
